Default The Z Is Back Home....Wow!!!

I will post more pics later as I have driven for a total of 12 hours today. Went and picked up the car from Mike Ebert's. PowderCoated with Stainless Hardware..new RC Injectors..wires...coil packs...some tuning and some porting etc...Just a bunch of stuff to make the car more reliable...drove it 300+ miles and it was smooth...smooth...smooth...

Anyway...stopped in Abita Springs Brew Pub (home of Abita Beer) and sampled....sampled....sampled...and ate Shrimp Po-Boys!!!!

It is MUCH smoother. This is the jerkyest Z I have ever owned...some of the injectors were shot etc....Mike got it running smooth. I haven't really got into it myself...he did when we went on the certification ride while the wives stayed at his house...he got into it and it jumped hard because of the improvements and the new tires hooked up from the get-go. I wanted improved Looks...Drivability...and Reliability and got it. If nothing goes wrong and I am still happy....I'll take it to the next level (headers etc...) next fall.

I look forward to have a few glasses of the Gator!!!

I am SOOOOO pleased with the powdercoating. I bugged the hell out of Mike and the Powdercoat expert with color samples and spent alot of time deciding on the color (I took as long as I could before catching my flight home). I love the mettalic flake. The result was EXACTLY what I wanted.....I am one hell of a color picker outer huh?

Now keep it! You'll never go back if you put headers on it. Ted

Default Wow!

That powder coat job looks so

Glad to hear that you are satisfyed with the results! The must be huge now! Enjoy!

When I read about the craftsmanship that is avalible for our cars from people like MrCrowley it makes me wish I lived closer to some of these people...it also makes me think I have to start saving up again...I thought the saving was over once I bought & paid for the Z!

Thanks to all who posted...Crowley (Mr) did an awesome job. When you get it in the light...you can see the metallic flake. I went out in the rain and washed it this morning...came inside pulled off my rain gear and drove her into the garage and dried her off. My engine compartment is cleaner than went I sent it to him

I have no idea about RWHP. 99% of the stuff was cosmetic and done to increse reliablity and driveability..I probably only picked up a few horses over stock 10-15 maybe.
