I think that would be a pretty good idea. If some high-quality ones existed, I think I would buy a set.

Would you be able to see anything behind you with a carbon fiber mirror!?

If you have the money, anything can be made.

When you paint it you end up loosing most, if not all, of the "carbon fiber" look. Which is why on black, you would end up keeping it and it would not detract from the color of the car so much... if the car was black that is.

I don't think anyone is out there looking for weight savings to switch to carbon fiber side mirrors... if they were, they would just take them off at the track.

Some things don't need to be "upgraded", IMO

nothing "needs" upgrading, the guy just wants to know if they exist because he thinks he will like them.

good luck and ttt, maybe some knows where to find them.

I do agree it wouldnt look good on other colors if it wasnt painted but some people might want that little bit of weight savings. Not me cause its not worth it on that part. They arent something you can just take off and put back on either. They are a PITA.

APSIS can wrap your oem mirror in CF then clear coat it. They do amazing work, much of it custom. APSIS is Corvette Forum Supporting Vendor. If you call them ask for Jersey. Keep us posted if you spring for em
