Default How do you remove this piece of the sun visor (pic)?

I'm swapping my old broken sun visors for some new pristine sunvisors and I can't get this bezel/clip off the old ones to swap over. Any help is appreciated

That part stays on the end of the visor. Just undo the wire.

The sunvisors are removed, unclipped, etc. I need to swap the circled bezel off of the old sun visors.

Looking in the Service Manual its supposed to be easy. Here are the complete instructions for replacing the sunshade.
Sunshade Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Tilt the sunshade down toward the windshield.
  2. Insert a flat head screwdriver blade into the slot in the sunshade inner bezel.
  3. Using the screwdriver against the elbow of the sunshade arm for leverage pull down on the sunshade arm while rotating the sunshade outboard until the sunshade stops. (the first tab disengages).
  4. Push up on the sunshade and continue rotating the sunshade outboard until the sunshade with the inner bezel disengages from the mounting bezel.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  6. Remove the sunshade.
  7. Disassemble as necessary.
    • If removing the mounting bezel, pull the bezel from the garnish molding with your fingers.
    • If replacing the inner bezel, remove the bezel from the sunshade shaft and press the new bezel onto the shaft.
Installation Procedure

  1. Route the harness through the mounting bezel.
  2. Insert the mounting bezel into the garnish molding engaging the snap fingers.
  3. Connect the harness to the sunshade electrical connector.
  4. Push the connector up through the bezel and through the hole in the garnish molding.
  5. Position the sunshade approximately midway between the windshield and the side of the vehicle.
  6. Insert the rod with inner bezel firmly attached fully into the mounting bezel.
  7. Rotate the sunshade toward the centerline of the vehicle until the sunshade locks in place.
Like I said its supposed to be easy but there are no specific instructions on how to remove that bezel.

The bezel came on the last one I ordered new. Not sure you even can remove it after assembly. Where did you get the visor(s) from?

If you want mine, I can send them to you in a week or so...Im redoing my headliner and getting rid of the visors entirely because Im so tall, it improves my field of view, and I never use them anyway

Looks like a good writeup, I'm going to need to do this myself probably... My mirror popped off and it's just dangling... There doesn't seem to be a good way to glue it back on there.

That bezel broke on my Driver's side visor. I did not see a part number? Is it replaceable or do you have to get a complete visor? I noticed that on the instructions it explains how to slide the visor thru the bezel?
Please advise

I just replace my visors with new ones I bought off of E-Bay. They were supposed to be gm, I don't know about that but they fit perfect. Just for the heck of it I removed the locking bezels. They were in a warm garage, but I just opened my vice a little, so not to hold tight, and taped the part where the wire come through and the bezel came right off. No damage.

Do you still have the visors? I thought the visors with lighted missors were stock but the C5 I just bought does not have them. I would also need the clips they attach to. One of mine is broken.
