Default 3LT or 4LT

I am considering buying a 2012 Centennial Edition one is a 3LT and the other is a 4LT the car is being sent to Callaway for a SC606 package. Is the 4LT worth the extra money? Is there anything else I should be aware of? I am going for the automatic.

For me 4LT would be the ONLY option.

I just went from a 3LT to a 3LZ (same as 4LT) and my opinion is, YES…it’s definitely worth the money.

The upgraded interior gives the car a significantly better feel inside.

This is the first time I've had the 4lt and I'm very happy with it. I believes it adds to the interior. I would say go fo it!!!!!!! Good Luck!!!

On that particular model, 4LT is the way to go - the interior just looks so much nicer w/ the red stitch on doors and dash

If I can help in any other way, please let me know

4LT is the way to go. The leather dash makes all the difference.

My Z06 is a 3LZ and my coupe is a 4LT. I believe the top packages are the way to go. My vert which i just sold was a 3LT and it was nice but not at the level of the 4LT.

I would definitely go with the 4LT. If you are going to get one, why not go all-out?

No. But as he said, he's looking at a Callaway Corvette - so what's behind you, shouldn't matter

I owned/own both. 4LT is fantastic looking but in a car that costs $90-110k it looks out of place. If price is no object then there are other "brands" out there that are far better looking. Caravaggio, DSV, Callaway's Deutschlander interior, I think Pratt and Miller's, etc. Yes they are a lot more expensive than the 4LT but a lot better also.

I went with 3LT this time and I'm using DSV as my source of interior parts. GM should have improved the 4LTs shifter/Ebrake and boots and the seats leather quality IMO since they are basically the same as a 3LT interior.

To answer your question about the back up camera. No Vettes currently have it as an option or standard feature. But the 4LT is a cosmetic option only also when you compare it to a 3LT anyway.

I purchased the 3LT as the 4LT was out of my budget, I would get the 4LT if it was in my budget

Mine DOES NOT look out of place in my ZR1, it looks fantastic.

I agree with phileaglesfan. How in the world did GM give the ZR1 vinyl shifter and ebrake boots, and the same leather seats. That's extremely disappointing. I don't even think the entire door panel is leather.
Anyway Save the money and go with a 3lt. Correct me if I'm wrong the 4lt adds over 10k to the sticker price. The factory leather upgrades are sub par quality at best. Why not have a vendor like DSVettes Apsis or Caravagio do all the leather goods for you and give your car a unique look and feel. Or they can simply give you the OEM look with much better quality leather stitching etc.... My 2007 is a 3LT with DSVettes leather and I'll put it against any 4lt anyday. And It didn't cost and extra 10k. And my entire entire is leather from the visors to the Apillars to the glove box and knee bolster and on and on and on.

Compared to other cars in the ZR1's price range it looks out of place. It is all subject to personal opinion. Compare it to an Audi or Jaguar and it fails big time though.

4LT doesn't cost $10k more than 3LT. It is about $4k MSRP and about $2600 real world. It is a good interior for the money but there are far nicer options out there. For a stock GM interior 4LT looks fantastic, compared to other brands though it is not that great looking to be honest. But I bet not many of us bought the Corvette because of the interior.

WHAT? You are being misleading for sure, you said "take the 3LT cause the 4 LT adds over $10,000 to the sticker price". How about take the 4LT cause it is only $3500 more than the 3LT.
