Did get to see Cyber Grey C7. Beautiful car. But that was it. Was looking forward to seeing the red C7 pictured here on the forum with the previous models in white surrounding it. Not there. I asked a GM rep and they said that was only last week for the media. Also seemed strange they didn't have one C6 on display. I think they had four Malibu's, but no C6's. New Silverado's and Impala's look good too. Actually, the whole GM display was lacking compared to the other auto makers. Ford's display was several times the size of GM's. Again, I have to say the C7 is a great looking car.

Love how the title gets all the haters fired up, yet you merely are mad about the display.
Why would they have a C6 in there when they are debuting a new Corvette...lol?
In my experience at trade shows, auto shows...you name it...Ford is always HUGE...always.

I would agree, if no C7, then yes, have a C6. Our show will be having a C6 in it, as there will be no C7.

I'm hoping the red Z51 with black wheels makes it to the Chicago show.

It certainly didn't disappoint the crowds. I too was there on Tuesday, and all day it was 4-5 people deep all around the rotating C7. 20 times the amount at any other car anywhere at the show, at any time. It certainly drew the interest in the crowds. They had a red C7 mounted on the wall, a C7 interior mounted on the wall sideways to get a good look at the inside. Along with the frame display, seat display, engine, transmission, etc. They also were giving out C7 literature packets, Corvette buttons, Stingray buttons, etc.
While the rest of the Chevy line-up was OK, the Corvette clearly stole the show.
Why would they have a C6 there? they don't make them anymore, they are part of the past, not the future for Chevrolet.

I went to the show today and wasn't dissapointed at all.
I thought the C7 looks a lot better in person. I was skeptical, but right away it hit me that wow it does look a lot better in person. I think in pictures of just the rear, it emphasizes just the rear too much. In person the car's overall design seems to flow nice.
Not sure what the red one on the wall was. I got side tracked and didn't check out the red one that was mounted high up on the wall.
Overall I was surprised how much I liked it. I didn't hear any negative comments in the crowd.
Same thing happened when the first Camaros were at auto shows. People complained about all kinds of things. But then when I actually went to the auto show and saw it, sat in it.... bought an SS 6 months later when available, and now own a ZL1. Some people still complain about the Camaro design, I love it.
BTW, smokin hot bods on the models as usual. That alone worth the price of admission.
pics later if I get a chance.

I saw somewhere that the red car was mounted up high on the back wall of the Corvette display, as if it were driving along the wall. Did they take it down?

When first glancing at the picture.. I thought.. Why is the right side of the car cut off.
Then I saw why.
Totally understandable. Surprised the car got in there at all.
Appreciate the car pics & especially the hot model.

The Cyber Gray looked real good in person. Needs the black wheels in my opinion though. I'm liking this body style better in the darker colors. Cyber Gray or Night Race Blue Z51with black wheels would be my choice.
