Default C4 ZR-1 Texas Meet

Any interest in putting together a meet for either April 27th OR May 4th? It may be too soon for the 27th but just let me know. I'm still liking the Hico idea but open for suggestions. I've got several interested parties so let me know if this is something you can attend and if you know anyone else that would be interested.

And then there were three....

Count me in for either date.

Thanks for putting this together.

I'm agreeing with the 4th. I've got a couple that have said the 4th would work. Here's where Hico is. Great roads and they do a lot of car shows in town. A couple of good restaurants, too.

I'll make a decision by the weekend depending on response but it's looking like the 4th. I'll let you know.

Anyone else? Carter, it's only about 90 minutes away from you, Bro. How long's it been since you stretched your Z legs? I'll be showing off your bling.

Yeah, it's looking like it's going to be the 4th, too. I didn't realize it but it looks like I'm going to be in your neck of the woods in Katy on the 27th. Sure wish you could make it. I'd like to see those S1's on a black car.

Hey David, took the Z out today and it started thumping, pulled over and would'nt you know the damn drivers rear tire tossed a chunk of tread, I am looking for replacement tires for it now. All the tire shops around here are freakin worthless to a Z owner. I will be there on sat. no matter what. My buddy has a set of nitto drag radials that would work for sat. I was hoping not to buy anymore 17inch tires cause I am on the hunt for 18's, like I said I will be there one way or another.

Oh, bummer. She's probably pissed at you for spending so much time on the Z28! Let me know if I can do anything to help.

Dave, I am still headed to the meeting on sat. I will most likely drive the Z28. I don't want to swap tires out on the rear for one trip.

ran it on the dyno 390rwhp, we have to finish the tune and I found out that both the cats are plugged so off they will come, and I am missing out on some air so I am gonna have to put a GTO cold air intake and step up the maf and throttlebody, so with the tune complete should be 400+ then once the exhaust is fixed and the air volume is right 430ish. I tell you what that car is quick now, kinda funny 400rwhp isn't a whole lot these days but that old camaro sure get with it, I'll let you take it for a beatin tomorrow Dave!
