Default Found a 67 Corvette Protecto plate

Hi all, I found a 67 Corvette Protect O Plate in an Owner Protection Plan book I picked up. I'd love to find out this car is still out there & be able to reunite this plate with the car. I know its a needle in a haystack, but who knows..........

Here's the VIN: 194377S101989 .H Other info on the plate if anyone would like to decode it: 455 988

This car was sold new in Pittsburgh Pa on 12-20-66. What a Christmas present!!

Please pass this along to anywhere else you feel the car or owner may be lurking! Scott

Amazing!!! I hope RF Johnson checks in! It sure is living a long way from where it started out. I'll be happy to deliver the plate & manuals in person if RF will pay for the plane ticket. : )

It would be worth a plane ticket to me, I'm still looking for any info on my car 1967 # 12706 sold new at Montgomery Chevrolet in Louisville, Ky.
My car is a L79 maroon convertible with saddle interior.

RF, PM replied to!!!

Yes, I joined to try & get the P O P & manuals to the owner of the Corvette in question. I am quite surprised I was successful!! Sorta made my day!!!

I found them in a box of manuals I bought this past weekend. I sell stuff like this, along with other car stuff, on ebay to help keep my head above water.

Car wise, I'm an American Motors guy. 68 AMX 343 4 speed, 70 Rebel Machine 390 5 speed, 71 Javelin AMX 401 auto. Lets see if this link lets me share a pic of the Rebel:
