Default Green C7

What does everyone think about the recent sighting of the green C7 in Texas?

http://blog.chevroletcorvetteusa.com/?p=239

Is it a color you'd like for your Vette?

it wouldn't be my first choice for a C7, but that color would be great on an early C3. I would have rather seen Synergy green like on the Camaros offered on the C7

I read somewhere that this car has Brownstone interior but I think it is too light to be brownstone compared to the other pictures I have seen of it. Can someone confirm the interior color?

Edit... forget it, I got the brownstone mixed up with the darker Kalahari

Your ok...the Kalahari is the lighter tan as seen in the first Cyber Gray Car.

Brownstone is the darker of the two. As seen in the Night Race Blue convertible.

I'd have to see it in person. From the pictures, and video's, when it looks dark I love it, otherwise not!

That's my first choice at the moment. Would like to see it in person first, however.

It's a great color, I would get it but I had 2 already. Getting Torch Red this time.

Not for me, but that is why they offer multiple colors.

Laguna Blue for me.

Lime Rock Green is why I'm getting a first-year C7.

I'm damn glad we have choices. Corvettes would get pretty boring if they were all red.

Cheers,
JB

I saw the car at the LSCC Classic it was a 3LT Z51 and the interior was Brownstone, it also had (IWE) Sueded Microfiber Upper interior wrap, the green was a deep green and had a rich metallic base, however, in the light under the stadum I don't think it showed at it's best. I think in direct sunlight it would pop, at least for green. I took some pictures of the interion and the lighting was not good actually the seats came out washed out and light, however, the dash came out more to true color.

I didn't love it myself, was expecting it to be a bit more flashy and this (to me) was just an everyday green.

JB; Is this car Brands Hatch Green? My 71 LT1 BHG looked like the car you posted. I had the Saddle leather in mine and it was a nice combination.

I had a car in this color and loved it. I always thought crystal red was the best color on the Corvette but would consider this green. I believe more people will like this color once they see the car in person.

As I said in another thread, thin gold pin stripes at the correct locations on the body of the C7 would really make the shape of this car pop. Although the stripes are not that noticeable, they accent the sharp edges. I have not seen a C7 in person, but the front end in pictures appear to have some sharp corners similiar to the CTS design.
