Default Lowered, de-badged, sinister - "this car eats children"

...an apt description by a coworker last week if i do say so myself. i've lowered on the stock bolts and feel it could still use a bit more of a drop, but will live with it for now. other mods include a complete de-badge, replacement of the crossed flags with black ones and a rattle can job on the "retainer." i was able to work loose all tabs on the grill insert save for the last one and ended up ripping it off in a fit of rage. i had started with the vinyl kit, but quickly f'ed it up and threw it away. i have ordered replacement inserts which i will have professionally painted and cleared. the stock one is not terrible and the paint looks really good, but i'd rather have a complete replacement with all tabs intact.

btw, i LOVE this car, even during break-in. so much fun. so tight, rigid and composed. so 'MURICA.

horns up! \m/

I agree on the pops of color. The elliptical shape of the side markers is new enough and good looking enough for me to keep them. (And there is the slight improvement in safety un-tinted.)

Your Stingray looks fantastic with your mods! Excellent photography, thanks for posting the great pics.

Looks good. Needs the windows tinted. Where were the photos taken? I like the background and I am always looking for places to shoot car photos. I'm near Plano. Shoot me a PM with the address if you can. Thanks.

i can't seem to give it up long enough to get it tinted! must. finish. break-in.

that locale is the backside of the lowes/bestbuy/target at 121 and custer.

That car looks great!
The yellow calipers really pop against the CG and black wheels. CG was my second color choice and seeing a car with the same accents as mine, I realize I couldn't have gone wrong with either choice.

Nice!!

Yellow Calipers nice combo with CG.

Stick to molluscs and crustaceans as a staple food though.

Never thought I'd ever say this but the black wheels look good. Sinister or bad ***, it looks it! I might consider black wheels when I get my shark gray 2015.

Looks nice & mean. Some folks have noted that their car settles down & rides lower after you put a few miles on it.
