You should look at forum dealers Kerbeck and MacMulkin. They seem to consistently have the best pricing, they also have tons of cars on the lot if you're open to that.

Also, Ken Fichtner at Denny Menholt. He was the first to sign on as a dealer vendor when the forum came on line. He is very up front about allocations and constraints. I ordered from him two weeks ago Thursday. My order is already at event code 3400, scheduled for production ! Can't beat that.

Agreed. I got my 2010 GS from MacMaulkin and plan to get my 2017 or 2018 Z06 from them. They are now the 2nd largest corvette dealer in the country ( Kerbeck is number 1) and consistently have great pricing right up front with none of the usual dealer BS one typically has to deal with.
A couple of others that are well known big forum dealers are Coughlin with Rick Conti as their very experienced long time sales person and Criswell with Mike Furman, another well regarded long time vette sales person.

I am pricing a 2016 stingray as well and best price I have is 56,481.00 This is a 1lt but upgraded chrome wheels, perf. exhaust, and fender guards. I have shopped Hendricks Chevy. and Kerbeck and McMaulkin. If I get it from Kerbeck or Mc I will have to travel to pick it up or have it dropped shipped and that is more $$ so in the end I am better off going with the small dealer in my area for the 56,481. I plan to order in the next 2 weeks.

I don't know where you are in CA, but I got tired of 10% off dealer pac pricing and paying MSRP, so I went with McMulkin where I got 11% off a base stingray. Try the forum dealers and find one you want to do business with. $5K off is a nice start, but not where the price should be.

$5K off on a base, stripped down 1LT is OK, but on a car that lists for around $70K you can do better at one of the forum dealers. If you are in the mid-Atlantic check out the cars at Criswell in Gaithersburg MD and ask for Mike Furman. You should be able to get 9% off with no problem.

Shop all the forum dealers, get your best price, then factor in any delivery charges (either shipping and courtesy delivery costs or travel to the dealership and drive home).

The misses and I took 3 weeks to get home to CA from the museum. Yes, we could have done it in 3 or 4 days but we headed east before heading west. If this will be your only new vette and if you can do it, pick it up the museum and take your time getting home.
Enjoy the journey. The destination will always be there.

IMHO prime Corvette buying season (I'm on #9 now) is between New Years and Valentine's Day, particularly Midwest and north central dealers. My motto is "when the snow falls so does the price". Locally, I'd try a cash offer an hour before closing on the crappiest Friday night in February. The only people at the dealer will be you and the most junior staff.

I bought a '15 2lt from him in April. He's a friend of the Forum. I'm retired with a clean driving record. I'll drive it to your front door for a ticket home, bottle of good bourbon and a couple good cigars. Better hurry up, though, snow is coming sometime.
