Default Passenger door does not open with RKE

Hi , the passenger door of my C5 2000 convertible does not open by means of the RKE.Replaced the batteries , no result.
Should I replace theCORVETTE C5 RH DOOR CONTROL MODULE ?
I have noticed that there are different modules on the market with different part numbers.(10342160 - 09389699) Which should I use ?
Thanks for helping me out.

Just to cover the basics here, you are pushing unlock twice? One time for drivers door, second time for passenger.

If you have a door module problem you should have a code...
CLEAR the codes... go for a drive... BEFORE you KILL the car PULL the codes, write them down and post them here

No codes , so it's not the module that is faulty ?

When you press "unlock" on the driver's door, does it unlock both doors? Does the lock and unlock work on the passenger door panel?

No , only the driver's door unlocks , however the lock works on both doors.

It sounds like it's probably the relay in the door control module. Cheap fix if you know how to solder. I had the reverse issue. My passenger door had problems locking. A $1+ relay and it fixed the issue.

I bought my relay's from Digikey. They're $1.72 a piece

Here's a video showing what you'll need to do.

Unfortunately , I am not so very handy with these tools.
So i guess replacing the door module will do the trick for me , not so cheap as a relay ...

Where are you located? Many members would probably be willing to solder for you for the hefty price of a beer.

If the relay is bad find a member who can help you replace it or buy the relay and take it to an electronics shop that can do it. The door control module costs hundreds of dollars. Why waste money when you could have it done for probably under $50?

Find someone to do the relay, as advised above. This exact thing happened to me. Took it to a dealer. Part was US$270 + US$170 labor. I didn't go for it, bought 4 relays instead (cheaper to buy a slew of them for potential future needs) for US$11, which included shipping. I can solder, but I was scared, so my neighbor soldered them for me. Once I saw how easy it was for him to do, I will do it myself in the future, if I ever need to. ;-)
