Hatch pops open, the left side don't close
I have done a lot of research on the forum and have had great success finding answers to my issues.
I have searched for trunk issues but only find information about the trunk lid not popping up enough. My issue is the opposite. I can't get it to close.
The right side latch acts fine but the left side latch won't open to allow the hasp to go into the opening to keep it shut. It's like the mechanism is stuck in the latched position. I have to wack the mechanism to activate, until a hear a release noise and then I am able to close it.
Do I need a new latch or actuator? I sprayed WD 40 it doesn't work with my issue.
Has anyone had experience with this?
