how do you mount tweets in a A pillars?
the A-pillar seems to be a popular way to mount tweeters to keep the sound stage high and in front. How do you go about mounting them where they don't stick out?

This is the response I got from member Darion:
All I did was take the flush mount holder from the kit and traced the opening size onto the pillar, I used a fine tip pen. Next I cut the material back that covers the pillar and removed it. Then I took my dremel tool with a bit that looks like a drill bit but is used for cutting, sorry I don't know the exact name, and opened up a rough hole. Looked up what I used on dremel web page, http://www.dremel.com/en-us/attachme...188549&G=66357 , that should help. Next I used a sanding stone to smooth and fine tune the opening size to get the fit I wanted.

you can do that. if you want something more custom looking you can also have them molded in.
like this:
or also something like this with a custom made grille.
the vinyl and grille in the above pic are black, the flash just lit them up a bit where they look lighter and you can see through the grille cloth a bit. In normal lighting it looks all black and factory. Just another option for a clean custom looking install of tweeters in the pillars.

Is that a replacement panel or a modified factory panel?
If the latter, where can I get it done?

I was trying to figure out how somebody could modify the injection-molded plastic and have it look that clean... Cover it with vinyl, duh!
