Default JL Audio 10w6v2 or 8w7?

im looking for decent amount of clean bass in the Vette, i am running a set of JL XR653's 3ways up front and im looking for low frequency

which sub is better for what i want

the best thing to do is go listen to those two, should be very easy to comparison shop

my vote goes to the 10w6v2. I have the 12" version of that sub and all the new w6 have excellent response throughout their range. The W7 series is best if you're going the SPL route because it's best response is in the lowest part of it's range.

i have the same setup....653's up front with a 10w6 in the back with a 300/2 on the fronts and a 250/1 on the sub. the sound quality is great!

i wish now that i had gotten the 500/1 (same physical size as the 300/2) for the sub for cosmetic reasons but im very happy.
