Default C4 CD player

Is there a place where I can send off my Boze unit to get it where it will play mp3s and mp4s, or will I have to buy a new head unit and speakers etc..

no such luck.

the best dr dons can do is make it read CDRs.

the logic of doing MP3s is beyond that system.

it is now time for you to read the C4 audio faq. It's at the top. It will explain a lot.

Read that, and then reask your questions.

I see I would have to replace all of my componets if I get a new head unit. Is there one out there that will work with the bose componets?

uh, NO.

There are no aftermarket units that work or interface with bose. If it existed, this problem wouldn't be. JL Audio and Rockford Fosgate do make new style interfaces that are pretty nice... but pricy.

As I said in the FAQ, there are interfaces, but they are not all that good. Add in the fact that the amps and drivers themselves are more than likely toast, I would just loose it all and do it right.

You MIGHT find a CD changer that will interface via RF that support MP3s...
