Default 08 VSS standard radio.......wire is behind the radio

Well, I finally got my D3 in the mail, and I decided to install it. Well, even though everyone stated the VSS wire is not behind the radio, as soon as I removed it, it is sitting there in the 12 pin harness. Checked it for continuity with my DMM at the ecm.

Just a heads up for those that will be installing a deck that needs the VSS wire, on a non-bose car

btw, the Metra GMOS-04 wiring harness is great. It not only has VSS wire in the harness (which I used instead of tapping the 12pin harness) but it also has reverse, and the brake wire

my only gripe.....the D3 is stating that there is excessive vibration....so I will have to go back in and somehow try to dampen it

That's good info, thanks!

To save folks a little of the Googling I just did... it's GMOS-04 not GMS-04.

sorry that was a typo. I know these are more readily available than the peripherial ones

Make sure if you do buy the GMOS-04, make sure it has a date on it. Anything that has no date, or a date prior to 06/07
is a FAULTY UNIT!!!!!!!!!

there was a Metra send back on all GMOS interfaces last summer
