Default dnx8120 boot up time

I was thinking of adding a DNX8120 and a backup camera to my 08. How long does it take for the unit to boot up. If it is too long I will for get the backup camera. Thanks

Don

I don't use a backup camera with my 8120, but the boot time is in the 15-20 second range, music will often start playing even while the loading screen is there.

Backup camera has no affect on startup time.

I have it with a back up camera. The boot up time is abouut 20 secs. If you need a Kenwood CCd 2000 back up camera I have a brand new one I did not use. I'll sell it for 160 including shipping.

But if the screen doesn't show a camera image for 20 or 30 seconds while the unit boots, having the camera doesn't really do you any good in a lot of cases.

So you can't wait 20-30 seconds before you HAVE to use the camera?
