Thanks for posting. I'm in the market right now for a DD mod for my C5. I have checked a few retail stores and your really need to compare shop these units because they really have some crazy price discrepancies. A guy today tried to sell me a Kenwood floor demo for $200 more than what I've seen online and at other stores.

I am good on the 7160
Waiting to hear for the 9960 and 6960
Reason is Kenwood 7160 is ditributed by Kenwood dealers
9960 and 6960 is distibuted by Exelon dealers. So i have to buy from two different places. The Excelon rep is not as freindlt with me as the Kenwood guy

I am going to pos tup this weekend a package with the 7160

OK. I checked out Kenwood's site, and I think a 7160 will do everything I need (or at least a 9960 is more than I need).

I can do the 7160 There is two sperate parts of KEnwood the Excelon and KEnwood. So I have to deal with two different suppliers to get products. So sorry for the delays. I just dont want any problems for anyone.
The 7160 I can do 1119.99 on before rebate.
I can package in a bezel and all other audio needs as well. Send me a PM in what you would like in a package and i can get you pricing info

Is the 9960 plug and play if it replaces a 9140? Are all the connectors compatable?

Dennis - I'm wanting a Kenwood system (maybe 7160?) for my '08 2LT MN6 coupe with the standard non-Bose audio system. I do have XM and OnStar which I would like to retain with the new unit and I would want Bluetooth capability and an IPOD interface. I'd want the unit to be capable of playing DVDs as well as music CDs, MP3, etc. And of course I would want my RAP to work as well as the door/warning chimes. I don't want to lose any factory functions due to changing out the existing unit. Thinking that I would also like to add the back-up camera option. Could you fill me in on everything that would be needed (complete kit for this application maybe with all parts/pieces needed) to accomplish this and the cost. Thanks.

I just checked out the 7160 today. It's a really nice unit. 1119.99 is a great price. I was quoted 1650.00 for it. Plus I want sirius,Ipod and all the hardware came to 2100.00 installed. I'm heading to another shop tomorrow
