Stereo wiring harnesses, 2007
Hi guys,
Does anybody have a wiring breakout diagram for the 2 harnesses for the radio?
I have a Bose, non-Onstar, CD changer version, and the wiring is all non-standard color codes.
Need to find out what wires are what! Which is power on, which is ground, which is for what speaker, etc.
Wiring in a new stereo and there are no clues as to what in the factory harness is what. Would really NOT have to run all new wires!!
Also adding in the Sirius and GMOS databus interface.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Paul

My harness has a couple of extra wires not covered by the schematics in the FAQ.
For instance, the C1 connector out of the radio, A6 is a purple wire, and A7 is a Blue wire. Not apparent as to what those are for.
And I couldn't find the other connector (C2) in any of the documentation. It is a 12-wire connector with 5 wires in it: Gray, Green/white, Tan/white, brown/white, dk green/white. I presume A-M (-I)
If anyone has any better docs, could you please tell me what those are for?!!
Thanks!
Paul

A6 & A7 are the steering wheel controls. A6 is 12v supply, A7 is return signal to radio.
Every question you have is answered if you look at the pinout portion of the prints
