Specs:

The GMAH24 is a plug and play interface that allows replacement of a General Motors Class II factory radio and maintain operation of the OnStar system. The GMAH24 has on board switching, and amplification to allow audio from the OnStar system to play through the two front factory speakers when OnStar is active, and mute the new replacement radio.

Retains door chimes when used with PERIPHERAL’s optional GMAHCM chime module. The GMAH24 can also be used when a radio and amplifier combination system is installed. Separate speakers can be added if desired.

GM vehicles with Class-2 radios with OnStar and Non-BOSE sound systems or BOSE sound systems when not retaining factory BOSE amplifiers. The GMAH24 decodes chime signal commands on the Class-2 data-bus and supplies the appropriate warning tone (door ajar, seat belt, low oil pressure, hi-temp., low fuel, headlight, etc...) through the OE amplifier, external speaker, or through add-on chime module GMAHCM.

Provides an effortless and seamless head-unit installation into late model GM vehicles while retaining complete operation of OnStar!
