Difference: ADD-GM24 vs ADD-GM24A?

Hi guys, wondering if anybody knows what the difference between these two harnesses is.

ADD-GM24 and ADD-GM24A look identical to me, other than an extra blue wire on the side of the harness that is supposed to be cut off and mated with RCAs.

No idea what the difference is, but if you have a C6 the Add-GM24 is the one to buy.
