Folks -

Just picked up a 1LT Coupe (coming out of a 08 3LT w/ Nav).
Anyway - I figured i'd upgrade the system, and have done installs "back in the day" so was hoping for some recommendations.

Ideally, i'd probably like to keep the head unit and upgrade amps/speakers/sub.

However - if the head unit swap makes sense/easier, then i'm good w/ that. Nav is not a must, but would be neat.

Anyway - my budget is tight. I am thinking 1K max

Any recommendations/advice?

can deff do a speaker and amp upgrade for 1k. not necessary to replace the headunit if you dont want to

anything special you want/need or dont want? subwoofer?

thx for the quick response...I'm just looking for crisp clean music i can crank on occasion...I listen to 80's rock/70's and some pop...
would not be averse to a sub but not mandatory. I really want something that when i crank the volume i don't hear distortion/vibration/etc...
