Default Alt whine

Have focal is200 components and arc audio 5029 on a kenwood xr400 amp along with a nvx mini monoblock amp for the sub on a stock nav hu. Used a aggGm harness and added rca jacks. Used y-jacks to split signal to the two amps.

Here is the problem. Get the alt whine thru both amps when i hook up the right rca lead to the nvx sub amp. The whine will go away from both amps if i take it off. Rca lines run by tunnel power by passenger door.

When Installed upgraded system in my C4, I also had whine from the Alt, I bought filters for the RCA jacks, which cut it down to nothing. Then I started chroming out the engine compartment and chromed the Alternator, which stopped all noise and removed the filters.
Wish I can tell you what kind I used, but I like to throw thing away, sorry.
You need filter for each RCA cable.
Hope this helps you little.

GLI's would prob fix it.

Have you tried right RCA to left amp channel and left RCA to right amp channel? It could be an amp issue if you can isolate it to the amp channel.

Could also be the way you have stuff grounded. It's a long shot, but try moving the amp ground wire(s).
