Default 2009 c6 sub box question.

Just trying to see what everyone is using for a sub box. I've searched and searched and there isn't much of a choice. Either the corner box for a 10 or subthumps down fire box or the shallow 10" box. Just looking for some reviews on either one

I have a little older JL Stealthbox made for the C6 which is loaded with a 10W3. Its powered by a JL 300v2 amp. It sounds great and matches the rest if the system beautifully. I understand the newer Stealthbox doesn't have the same driver(10W1) and can't comment as I haven't heard one.

Ya I see a lot of corner cubby boxes that use the JL sub. I know double d has one with a I'm guessing everyone is running that particular setup ( cubby hole box)

There's alot of them cause they work. Don't take up much space and if done right with the proper size box for a given quality driver and powered well a 10" can add a good amount of great sounding bass in a small interior.

Exactly! Match the sub and amp specs properly and one 10" in a cubby box sounds great in a vette

Corner stealthbox with a 10w3 and 500 RMS from a 5 channel amp. It sounds great, more than enough bass than most people are looking for and the box doesn't take up much room.

I've got a Raam Audio corner box that I pulled from my Z06 with an Arc 10 sub that I'd be willing to sell if your interested. It sounded great hooked to the Arc Audio 500.1 mini

I'm currently using an Arc KS500.1 with an Arc 10D2 sub, and they are a perfect match for each other

Just be aware that even though Rick originally sold his boxes for both C6 coupes and C6Z, he eventually changed it for C6Z only since it MAY not allow the top to be stowed without hitting the sub in some coupes. I had one of his boxes that I originally purchased for my '07 coupe, and everything fit fine, even with sound deadening under the carpet. When I got the new '12 GS coupe the top was resting on the sub, and that was before installing the sound deadening

I have this one xxxxxxxxxxxxxx but had them make it for a single 10" sub. Have both my amps mounted on each side of the sub. Works for me just now I am trying to track down a rattle that I can't seem to fine when the sub hits low hz. I have it set to not go below 50hz.
