c-5 stereo illumination wire
can anyone help me with finding an illumination wire to hook up my headunit.. it is the last thing I have to figure out to finish my new stereo install...
I have the Manual climate control system..does anyone know which wire is the illumination wire...
or what voltage it is...

For you (and anyone searching in the future):
Since C5 doesn't have a dimmer wire in the radio harness
-with automatic dual zone controls HVAC unit the dimmer / illumination wire is the yellow one at C16 of the big plug
-with manual single zone control it's the yellow wire at pin J of the 12-pin plug

Made my install possible...
Without it .........no way would I have been able to figure this install out
