APP Radio 4
Pioneer just introduced new APP Radio 4 today. I am wondering how this is different than the NEX 4000 with the new Apple CarPlay? I would love to upgrade my head unit to one of these units now that CarPlay is supported.
Can you run a navigation program like Waze while listening to Pandora or music off your iphone?
Any thoughts?

Don't get too excited. CarPlay was supposed to be supported in "Early Summer", on the NEX Units. Then it was "Early Fall". Now its just "Fall". The NEX units are also having issues with iOS8 in the AppRadio mode.
Hopefully they'll get it all ironed out soon.
UPDATE: Just noticed the CarPlay firmware is now available. I'll post back with a report.
