Default Backup Camera

Thinking about a backup camera to go with my Pioneer Z120 any recommendations?

I really like the stealthiness of the Crimestopper SV-6819EM. My install is described here.

I went with the LP-1CA license surround camera. If you paint it to match your body color it's barely noticeable, but there are two different cameras out there with the same part number, one is a lot more bulky. A few pics of the discrete version.

I mounted my flush mount camera right into the "v" of the emblem on the back. Black camera. Gray body. No one ever notices it and my field of view is huge.

My son an I each purchased a CRIMESTOPPER SV-6818.EM.II 170° Embedded Style Flush Mount CMOS Color Camera from Amazon. $37.43 each. Install was pretty easy and you can barely see them. Wow it is a great addition.

On my sons C5 we drilled the required hole but on my C6 it fit into an existing hole/slot to the left of center, snapped right in. So far so good.

I really like this. Had I come across this one, I would have used it to. I bought a really cheap one from Ebay and it's outstanding. The way mine is mounded is really a conversation piece, but then again, I have a "hybrid" emblem on the back of my car too. That's the way I roll. lol...

Nice, think I'm going with this one. I got to look at the back of my C6. You said it pretty much snapped right in. Cool

The Crimestoppers are very nice and come in both fixed and adjustable versions as seen above. They do pretty much snap right in.

Yes, there is a cutout for the license plate light and it just happens to snap right into that slot. It does mean one side of the camera is sort of exposed from the elements but I figure it would get wet wether or not it was a hole or a slot.

I like that one too. I would have gone with that one had I seen it. Always a good thing to use an existing hole.

I went with the PylePLCM18BC not as stealthy as some but it screwed right to existing holes. I like it. Poor quality pic sorry but it's dark out now .
