Does anyone make a double DIN dash kit for a C6 with a flat trim face?

NOT curved I installed the metra dash kit in my car but the face is contoured which forced me to push the dash kit all the way back so my double din will open if I mount it flush the face gets caught on the trim. So my double DIN sticks out about a 1/2" so it looks like crap.

BUT that's not the best part my double DIN wont close without me pushing down on the trim because it catches on the trim.

So end rant....

Does anyone know where I can get a double DIN kit with a FLAT trim piece?

Can you post a picture? I am having a hard time visualizing what you are talking about.

I put an aftermarket double din in my 2005 C6 and I don't remember any curves on the face.

Took me a while to find a picture, but you can see that the trim face lays flush with the console.

Have you tried to file/sand down the lower lip of the bracket? It doesn't take much sanding.
