Wanted to let all Kenwood folks know - last couple of days by head unit sh_t the bed and the NAV would not work - this is the third time.

I looked tonight and Kenwood has released a new software/firmware update dated 4/30/15 - I'll be installing it in the morning.

I hope this is the fix ash I'm getting sick of my NAV going out. This is the 3rd time - last time I had to send the unit back to Kenwood in VA - tear dash apart, etc.

I'll let you guys know how it works.

Where do you find out about Kenwood updates? I'm having problems with my sat radio.

Installed the new firmware version 1.10.0 on my DNX890HD this morning. Nothing to it. NAV is back to working normally. Sure wish Kenwood had a better way of notifying its customers other than waiting for the head unit to s__t the bed.

So much for a good thing - same loss of memory problems occurring for the third time. Kenwood not willing to do anything other than have the head unit shipped back to them for repair - maybe I should send them the bill for pulling the unit out of the dash.
