Our new C6 Sub box option now available! Jl Audio TW5 andTW3 YES will fit ZR1
We have been making these by request for a few people lately who do not want to give up a compartment for the sub.
These will sit on the floor behind your seats. Height is 5.5" on the box itself. The top will yes fit back into the car.
We have also been making these with amps built in as well for those who want that option.
WILL NOT FIT A VERT DUE TO REAR SPEAKERS. IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE THE REAR SPEAKERS ON A VERT
WE CAN MAKE A SIMILAR BOX WITH DIFFERENT SUBS TO FIT UNDER THE TOP!
The TW5 is a 13.5" sub and will be a 2 or 4 ohm SVC sub 600RMS
The TW3 we are offering in a 10" for now DVC 4ohm 400RMS
The TW3 10" box will be $329.99

Out of curiosity, how does the output from one of these compare to the more traditional stealthbox installation location?
It seems that I get a fairly significant amount of cancellation in the 50-70Hz range from the single sub in the driver's rear location. Low bass is there, but the "punch" range is lacking to the point where I'm looking at other options. I'm running a 10W6v2 and a 500/1, it should pound your skull (like it did in the previous vehicle), but it just doesn't in the C6.

I have a brand new JL Audio 10W6, how much would a box for a C6 convertible be if I removed the rear speaker partition?

how does it sound? Seems a little close to the ear as well....I assume this is a sealed enclosure?
