I only deviated by the bracket made to hold the module up. I simply used a 90 deg angle bracket I found at the local hardware store, and used a combination of double sided tape and the plastic push-pin to secure it. The OnStar box I wrapped with the same self-adhesive foam, and sorta crammed it up above the removable plastic cover over the passenger feet area.
Finding the pins for the seat plug was fun. Ended up buying a pack of 25 of them from here... . http://www.mouser.com/Search/Refine....829-15304713-L
