Default Bass tube install question

So I'm installing a powered bass tube and I only have 2 pre-outs from HU. My question is....should I put y-adapters on the rear pre-out cable running from HU to amp to connect rear input and bass tube input OR should I combine the front/rears speakers to front channel of amp and use rear preout from HU directly to bass tube? Thanks

Most likely you won't want to adjust front/rear fade as much as sub level, so I'd suggest using the Y on front output to front and rear amp inputs, using gain ***** on amp to set fade, then use rear output for sub only. If you want to adjust bass level just use HU front/rear fade.
