Default Sub box options for C7 1LT

I'd like to put a sub box in my 2016 C7 but I have the base model.
Will it be a PITA to install due to not having a bass feed in the back?
What are my options? I saw the vettenuts box and that looks good.

As of right now there still aren't any vehicle specific interface adapters made for the C7

I've been trying to buy the plug pieces that would be needed to make a plug-n-play T harness for the stock amp output, but all of the parts are not commercially available

To install a sub you'll need to tap the stock speaker outputs, wire them into a line output converter, then use RCA's from the LOC to an amp/sub combo.

If you think you may ever want to replace your speakers I'd get something like the LC7i instead of just a 2-channel LOC.
