Aftermarket navigation unit was removed after several years of service and repaired by manufacturer repair shop for fading screen. Unit was plugged back into 2006 convertible and tested. Radio played and navigation screen was clear. The unit slip while partially in the dash during the testing and shorted. The fuse for the radio blew and was replaced. The navigation unit powered up but no sound from the unit. The unit was sent back to the service center and it checked out fine. The navigation system reinstalled and still no sound. The gm unit plays just fine. Aftermarket service centers says it is in the car not the navigation unit. I am using the bose amp system that came with the car and the 06 does not have onstar. Any help trouble shooting?

Are you connecting the HU blue/white wire to the interface adapter in the car?

If yes, try bypassing the box and connecting directly to wire at B3 (car side is white).
