DD Mods is the man!
Got a Kenwood 9903 today with harness, sirius, and backup camera.
Started disassembly before the package arrived via FedEx. I could not figure out the damn cigarette lighter, even with a printed copy of the install guide on the forum. Cut the bastard. Blew the fuse too.
Don't be like me.
Finally got the old radio out as FedEx pulled up. Looked everything over, and did my best caveman "this has to go here, and that must go here"
I only had to call Dennis twice. Both times because my stereo knowledge was last used circa 1988.
Stupid things I did-
No need to go anywhere else if you are looking for a stereo upgrade.
I will finish a little wire tucking and cleanup in the morning.
Thanks again Dennis.

Stupid things I did-
- left my rear taillight unscrewed for a quick jaunt to the store. It fell out and was hanging by the wire.
- stabbed my finger twice.

Everything is working fine now, Except for the microphone. I took it inside and tested it on my pc, worked fine. Reinstalled everything (it's much easier the second time) and still no voice. I plugged it in the correct spot, the wire is fine. But no one can hear my calls, and no voice commands.
Anyone have any ideas? Something I overlooked? Aliens? Yeti's?

I'll be posting more later but I just got the same kit plus all new speakers. I had it all installed professionally. There were a couple of glitches that Dennis addressed immediately. Everything fit together nicely. The learning curve is steep so I won't evaluate anything for a week or so while I get used to it all. One thing I know for sure: Google maps on the large and bright Kenwood screen, with the capability to tell Google orally where I want to go, is the best GPS system I've ever experienced.

Yeah, It's pretty dang awesome. I plugged the microphone in the wrong spot, because I know what the hell I'm doing, Except I don't.
But all is good now.
Dennis didn't even let my ignorance bother him. I would have told me to shut the hell up and re-check everything.
The system is very nice, and I will always buy from DD mods.

You can't beat Dennis. Two years ago I installed a DNX 890HD with backup camera. Wow! Love it. And the Garmin is awesome. (I am now trying to build up the nerve to install an amp)!

I just ordered my 9903 for my 11 Grand Sport.....cant wait to get it next week. Dennis was great to work with during the ordering process....even got me to go over my budget by only $300...lol...but I get to have front and rear cameras....that's worth the extra money....right?....Actually I am quite pleased to have gotten such a great deal on the head unit and pre-wired connectors....both cameras and mounting kits for what the head unit alone costs online.....and that doesn't even take into account having a great person like Dennis to help you get over any issues you might have during installation.
