Default C5 Bose Splicing???

Hey I am wondering if there is anyway to run the subs in the doors as a normal sub when hooked to an aftermarket radio. I bought that PAC-OEM1 module thingy but the subs seem to be evenly controlled through the bass setting in my radio, rather than the sub-woofer section. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

C5 door subs need a line-level input.

The ROEM is only set up for the speaker level output from one source (front speakers) to be both fed through for your twiddlers and also tapped and converted to line-level for the subs. What you noticed is how it was designed to work.

If you really want to, it's possible to rewire everything so the HU speaker outputs only go to the twiddlers, and the HU sub output feeds the door subs. It's not that hard to do, you just have to splice the stock wires.

Post here if you want details on how to do it
