I have a 2016 Z51 1LT. Is it possible to add the factory subwoofer to the Bose 1LT stereo? Is there a pigtail already in place? If so, is there a separate amp that goes along with the sub? Is the wiring pre-installed for that as well?

I don't believe the parts/cables you need are factory installed on the non-sub system.

How hard are the installs on the Double D subwoofer kits? Like this one:

It looks like you snap the case with the woofer (and amp?) into the cubby in back-left area, but how does it get tied into the existing 2LT Bose (nav/PDR head unit/amps? Does it take over the power and audio connections from the existing sub and that's it? I don't see docs on that URL as to the install so I'm wondering.

Ahhh... That makes sense then. What is strange is typically you use Dual Coil to give wiring options, but here... they know which they're using.
