Initially the GS saw my iPod and gathered song, album, playlists, etc. I played one of my playlists a couple days and then yesterday went after a particular album. When I was done I tried to go back to playlists but the list was empty. Anyone know how to force the car to gather or maintain that list? Also shuffle seems to stop working and it was playing this in order when it appeared that shuffle was on.

I completely disconnected the iPod and rebooted the iPod, then reconnected it. That seems to have solved the issue so far.

I have an iPod that's been dedicated to my car for over 10 years now. It worked great in all previous cars, with both stock and aftermarket radios, but in the C7 it is glitchy at best. Seems to work great for a month, then nothing but issues until it mysteriously starts working again after several reboots.

I unplugged the iPod and just put a thumb drive with 1500 songs in the 'secret' compartment, no issues for 6000 miles
