Your Sirius Satellite cost??
Every year I have to go through the same situation. Sirius satellite radio wants to automatically renew for about $200+ each 12 month subscription. I always end up cancelling, and after a week or so I get an offer for about half. Yesterday I just paid $119 (includes all the fees) for the full year. $10 a month is OK with me but is anyone doing better??

I do the same, first get card, $30.00 for 6 months and 99.00 for year!
I take the 6 months and then cancel and wait for another card for $30.00 with free activation again for another 6 months.

End result they will give you at best, $24.99 for 6 months.

My renewal was coming up next month. All access would have been $273. Called last week and told them I wanted to cancel. After 10 minutes of back and forth they lowered to $120 for the year.

I'm "gearing up" for the battle, next month. I bought a 2015 jeep, new, back in March of 2015. Sirius "12 month trial" came free. Following year, I get a "special offer" in the mail, which reads in HUGE, BOLD print, renew for $99. OK, this is my first experience with them, and I'm not familiar with their rates. What I mean, is that I wasn't aware that they bury several taxes and/or royalty fees in the "fine print", so I send them a check for $99, thinking I'm good for the next year.
A couple of weeks later, I get a notification that I'm only good for 8 months, or something, so I'm on the phone in a flash, and I'm PO'ed! Bottom line, I told them that their notice was VERY deceiving, therefore, CANCEL THE DEAL IMMEDIATELY, and send me a refund. As a couple of posters have previously mentioned, I get transferred to the "retention specialist", who agrees to "give me a break", and lets it go for the $99.
Let's see what happens next month......

It's funny that this subject came up. I had been a sirius subscriber since almost the day it came out and I just cancelled on Saturday. It was going to be $488.00 for 2 cars and I just can't justify it. I'm sure it won't be long before I'm getting the we miss you letters and emails. It's going to have to be a really great deal to get me back.

At one time Sirius offered lifetime subscription. I got that for my bride's car. I had it on the truck, and cancelled, listening to Pandora off the phone. The 6 mo for $25ish looks like the way to go on the vette as I live in MT. I'd like to get lifetime for that and the truck, but won't happen.

Thanks for the replies. I've had those 6 month deals too but hate dealing with them twice a year. I can live with my $10 a month.
I think the price for me was $99 too for the year but all those add-ons actually bring it up around $120.

I renewed in November for $99 per year. I just don't like to talk to those people every three months or so for the deal of the century. Just ask to be connected to the cancellation dept. and you can get some really good deals.

I have a lifetime subscription on the radio in my home, so all my cars are "add-on" radios and are never more than $10 a month.
I always buy in 3 year increments, get traffic but not the weather and sports stuff and keep one radio ties to the internet account. So I pay $8.60 (car 1) + $8.60 (car 2) + $3.90 (traffic) + $3.90 (traffic) + $3.60 (internet) a month for both cars.
I'm not going to bother arguing with them to get the $99 a year deal for the base radio subscriptions when I only pay $103. Remember the royalty rates are ON TOP of these, and you can't get around those.
