Default Battery Tender for Corvette

I have used the Battery Tender for the last few Minnesota winters and decided to do a quick Video review. Good Product!

Very good review of the Deltran Battery Tender. I have been using a Battery Tender Plus on my car for the past 7+ years and you're right, they are a great product. For someone who has to store their cars in the winter like we do, a battery tender is a must have.

With the help of a battery tender, I was able to keep my OEM battery healthy for just months short of 10 years.

No doubt a MUST for storage.

I have a Battery Tender on my 1998 BMW 540i, it still has it's original battery, my 2010 Harley Super Glide Custom, it still has it's original battery, and my 1982 Corvette CE with a battery from 2006, it still has that battery.

I have given a Battery Tender to each of my 3 kids, (all grown adults with kids of their own now), and it is the best product for battery life every produced.

It reads the battery voltage, charges when it's needed, and the "rests" when not

It is a superb product, I would and do recommend it to anyone with storage needs for their bike, car, snowmobile, etc.

This is a pic of my 1982 CE, on a drive on New Years Day outside of Chicago, one of the few years snow and salt-free after 3 days of rain after snow!

I have used a battery tender for my Minnesota Vette for the past few years so I thought I would do a quick video on it.

Did you choose it over the battery tender and if so, why? I have heard of it, but have not seen or used it personally.

I use a CTek as well. Great reviews, highly rated on Amazon, etc. I bought one several years ago and ended up just keeping the Vette on it 24/7 in the garage. Now I have two Vettes and two Cteks. Great little unit, and does a good job of recovering highly sulfated/bad batteries as well.

I also have a CTEK 3300. I have used it for the last two years with no problems.

Default Battery Tender for Corvette

So my question is : Do you disconnect the ground for the 4 months as an electrical engineer from Chevy says to do OR do you leave it connected as your video shows and an 30 year mechanic supports?

I have a Ctek 7200 for the 2002 Z06 and a Ctek 3300 for the Toyota. They are on all the time. It's been three years for the Corvette and two years for the Toyota.

I use Ctek on vette 24/7, plugged into cigarette port. Use a Battery Tender Plus on my truck and Jeep. Both seem good quality.
