Default VCIM Connector with pink wires

I am in the UK and have a 2007 Corvette with a GM factory nav unit, bose speakers and onstar. I am removing the factory nav unit and replacing it with an Alpine nav using a PAC RP5-GM11 interface, I will be using the existing BOSE speakers, the onstar is obviously not used,
when removing the GM factory nav unit there is a small connector that came out of the left rear of the GM factory nav, I understand the connector is for the VCIM, the wires are pink and pink/black, the instructions I have do not say what I should do with this connector as there is no provision for it to go into the Alpine wiring, should this connector just be left unplugged? thanks in advance for your help.

Just leave it unplugged, you don't need it.
