My car did not come factory with xm radio.

I want factory xm radio. I bought the xm receiver from a donor 05. I bought the antenna . I bought a radio from a 10 (simply because I wanted the aux phone input). Radio works after visiting the dealer. I have the xm receiver and antenna installed; however, my radio is not recognizing the xm receiver. It does not show the xm bands when i scroll through the band button.

Please help
