Tuan, on a side note, what is the highest MB Quart line available in a 3 way system?

I'm very sure that MB Quart does not make 3-way system in Q Series. However, they do make the a 6.5" 3-way system in Premium Series (PSD 316). Below is the pic.

Alpine just came out with a 3 way set that has wood pulp embedded in to the surround, We've built the demo cabinets for them and they are absolutely unbelievable. Inquire alpine they'll be able to tell you.

First it was watching out for rust, be careful for the leather seats, keep the carpet clean, don't break the top.
NOW we have to watch for termites

Re: MB Quart 6.5" 2-Way Q Series Component Set (Tuan Le)
For what it's worth, I'm running a pair of the MB Quart QM218.61Q (what Tuan is advertising) driven by a JL Audio 300.2. I am extremely pleased with the SQ of this series. BTW, I did not purchase this set from Tuan, however his sale price is rock bottom. I actually paid the same price through a different distributor, which had the absolutely the lowest price I could find at the time (internet sales). Nice price Tuan. If I had been aware of Tuan, I wouldn't have hesitated purchasing from him at this price!

Alpine released their F#1 Status speaker line at CES. The SPX-Z18T is the three way, and the SPX-Z15M is the two way. Like all F#1 status equipment, it will only be avail through certain dealers, and unobtainable on the internet.
Something else to note is that Phoenix Gold release a phnominal set at CES called the Ti Elite. These are made by morel for PG, and... well

Re: MB Quart 6.5" 2-Way Q Series Component Set (mrkln)
I have an antique set of Canton Pullman series RS3's... 6" midbass, 4" mids and 1" silk dome tweets. These speakers are about 6 years old.
And they have paper cones. :D
I agree with Kale - Paper cones are the BEST. I have a new set of Boston Pro Series and they have a polymer cone. They sound great, but slightly artifical.
The low price speakers that I have been recommending are the Polk Audio GRX series - mainly because they have a coated paper cone. Much warmer then other cheap price plastic coned speakers.
