double din in a c5?????
has anyone installed a double din radio in a c5? i would like to get a double din radio and was wondering what it would take to make it fit.

It can be done. I have a about a dbl din and half in mine. Several guys here do. You will just need to modify the trim bezel

wow...thanks for the pic. guess that answers my question. did you trim the top and the bottom of the bezel?

I cut the bar between the AC and the radio. Then moved the ac to the bottom Then I molded in the AC face and the spot I had to cut to remove the bar.

do you have a replacement carbon fiber dash or just overlay...i am guessing overlay. where did you get that as well? what about the carbon fiber shift boot, steering wheel wrap and e brake boot? you did what i was planning on doing. did you use fiber glass or the horse hair mixture to fill in the spots on the center console??
