Other than having a number on them somewhere, how do these differ from the one's selling on Ebay for under $30?

I think the answer is that the ones on ebay now are the second release ones (3000 made) with plastic chassis. The original 300 had metal chassis. I was told the second release are also numbered. Maybe 1-3000? Nobody knows. Can't tell without openingthe package (just like on the first release).

I hope it's more than just a metal vs. plastic chassis. People were paying upwards of $200 for them on Ebay until these came out. If a different chassis is all it took to excite people, I'm gettin' into the diecast manufaturing business!

I recieved my Greenlight RF ZO6 last week. This one is from the 2nd run of cars available from NCM. It is numbered 1849. The chassis is plastic. The paint is not the best. Nose is scuffed right about front spoiler as well as the top edge of the spoiler and it has two air bubbles below front C6 emblem. Corvette is at the top of the front windshield.

Forgot to add one other detail - on the chassis the year date code is printed directly to the chassis surface in white. In the other thread photos it looks like it is printed in white on top of a black rectangular area that is a different color than the chassis material.

If you mean one of the 1 of 399 1:24's, you can try watching ebay but it's been a few weeks since any came up. And keep in mind these were selling for between $150 and $250 (I sold one for $220).

I just got mine yesterday, number 1578 but I ordered it from Vettecollectibles. My date code is printed in white on top of a black box. But the paint on mine seems in better shape as I can't find any bubbles. You think they'd get better as the numbers increase? Mine also says Corvette on the windshield.

It still isn't completely accurate though. Most of my other Greenlights have a metal chassis except this one, not sure why they did that. It also still doesn't have the full length racing spoiler. The interior looks pretty accurate though and the center console is red, but I also notice what appears to be an F55 console switch which is funny since the Z06 does not offer that option.

The box is also weird in that it doesn't give any indication as to the car being a RFE and on the bottom it has the same "Daytona Speedway" logo as my pace cars. All they did was tape over the SKU number.

I guess I have the second edition. I have #1439. The passenger door is jacked up a little. I does not fit right. The chasis is plastic also. It has Corvette on the windshield.

I have #0768 from the second batch. I purchased it from NCM. It goes great with my Greenlight 1:64 version.

I have one of these somewhere in the house, I'll have to find it and see what number it is. I remember it had the Chevrolet banner up front

The number is on the bottom of the car, which means you have to remove it from the box and stand, just to see which one it is. Not sure what they are selling for now.
