But seriously folks... for years the Franklin Mint was pumping out Corvettes faster than Chevrolet, but with them out of the game you won't see anything in high quality 1/24. 1/18 scale in general is on life support, so that's unlikely unless Jada makes one in their usual cheesy, toyish fashion. I think your best chance of anything bigger than 1/64 Hot Wheels might possibly be Greenlight in 1/24. I think they still have carte blanche to do Indy stuff. The days of getting just about every Vette in 1/24 & 1/18 are gone unfortunately.

A few months ago I was looking for a model kit for my 2009 Convertible and found this on EBay and bought it. It’s a 2010 but identical to my car.
I found a 2008 Pace Car on EBay this morning. https://www.ebay.com/itm/31344775786...iABEgJt5vD_BwE
I remember as kid back in the 60’s my dad worked for GM and would occasionally bring home promo models for me. I guess back then it was thing to get a model when you bought a new car.

If it's hard to get die cast Corvettes, it's just as hard to get plastic Corvette kits of every year. I know there will be a lot I won't find, just not made. I collect kits, sealed, don't build, and as you said, it's hard to find some. Some are open, missing parts, or even started. My collection is really grown, the bad thing is it's maybe 1/4 of what is or was made. I am sure it's the same for die cast. But what is the future of collecting CORVETTES? It's fun any way. I did find 2012, a CAMARO was wearing the INDY 500 too.
