Default Selling some one of a kind models - `81 Corvette "Alpha", Mustang GT 500, more...

Hi Everyone,
I am moving, and need to sell some of my toys. Unfortunately, I have to consider selling some of my prized builds. If you are interested let me know. Keep in mind, my last L88 build went for $1000, so please keep that in mind if making offers.

1. 1/8 scale 1981 Corvette "Alpha"
This car is very large, almost 2 feet long. I combined the `78 and `81 kits to build this, both of which are going for about $200 each on Ebay. To my knowledge, there are no other large scale models of this car. It is a replica of the very first car built at the Kentucky plant. $900

2. 1/8 scale 1985 Camaro Iroc

Another very large model, about 2 feet long. Pretty much a stock build with details added. asking $550 SOLD

more to come....

3. 1/12 scale Mustang GT500

Like the Alpha, this one would really pain me to sell. Featured in the book "International House of Plastic Volume II" (no idea on that title), it is a very detailed build of the newer kit from Revell. The white stripes are painted on and are not decals. asking $950

4. `66 Mustang GT Custom

This is a combination of a `66 Shelby and a 2011 GT500, inspired by "Elaeno" from Gone in 60 Seconds. This is definitely a one-of-a-kind. I won the premier Automotiveforums.com modeler of the year with a very similar build, and this was built to correct everything I wish I would have done on that model. $650

5. Ford Cobra 427

Also featured in the "Internet House of Plastic Volume II" book, it is pretty much a stock build with a good bit of detail added. asking $500

6. `91 Firebird Formula

I can almost guarantee none of you have one of these in your collection, and definitely not in yellow. I have a soft spot for 3rd gen F-bodies. $250 SOLD

Very nice. The '85 IROC in that color is one of my favorite cars.

I have a bunch of tiny paint brushes and drill bits. I`ve also been building for over 30 years now.
Thanks!

Not exactly a twin, but close...
I did almost the identical build to replicate my 1980 frost beige coupe.
It was also two toned, but I used a lighter honey gold on the real car and the model.
I used to put the model in the back window at shows.
If you look close, there is also a Tyco slot car in the back window to replicate the "little car in the little car"...

I'd love to buy your model, as I foolishly left the model go with the car when I sold it...

I could only find these black and white pix...
they were taken for Vette Vues magazine in the early 80s and they had to have B&W.

Oh wow. That is a cool idea, with the car inside of the car inside of the car. Did you use the same kits I used? Is it 1/8 scale?
Thanks for sharing!

Yep, the Monogram 1/8 '78 and '82...

I probably built this in '84 or '85...

Way talented, and patient. And I bet you don't have a cat. (No cat hairs in paint)

Steel bumpers are 68-72 early C3's with steel bumpers on front and back.

I had to look for a while, and I can`t believe this, but I only built one of these! I sold this one back in 2004.

It`s a `68 L88 from memory. I sold it to someone who had a real one just like it. It was the first one I ever sold.
Do the C2`s qualify as steel bumpers? That is what I am most known for:
