I have a GMP 1:12 Red Jewel Prototype C5-R.Not sure exactly what it looks like. I ran out of room & never opened the box.

I believe the Red Jewel paint scheme is equivalent or looks very similar to the 2003 50th Anniversary edition C5's. I'll give it some serious thought, I know the last one I purchased from you was awesome, so no worries there. Nice looking car for sure.

I'd really like to land one of the black prototypes first, one of those "got my heart set on modes".

I do appreciate the offer and will keep it in mind, speaking of running out of room...

Today, I was able to win an auction on Ebay for the GMP C5-R black prototype. I had to ante up for it but, it's in perfect condition as well as the packaging. Considering that there are only 100 of these, I still think I came out ahead.

I was surprised one showed up again so quickly. Couple months ago someone was selling one but, I passed it up because the paint on the hood had orange peel. Yikes!! The seller was adamant that this was a common problem. Yeah... Total bs. I'd seen a handful of these and they were all perfect. GMP would never release something so glaringly defective. Without shipping, I got a perfect one for the same price as the defective one. Glad I waited...

Still in the market for the R/C C5-R. Finding one of those available in great shape is taking longer than I expected but, it is what it is.

For a very short time on Ebay yesterday, someone had put up a Radio Shack C5-R for sale. This one looked pretty decent but, the seller didn't take any pictures of the original box, or the controller in the listing, and had it listed for sale at $95 plus shipping. Before I could get some answers from the seller, someone bought it.

Oh well, I'll keep trying.

Looks to be in perfect condition and comes with original box. There were only 100 made of these. Don't miss out. The guy had it listed originally for $600.

Still looking for that near perfect Radio Shack C5-R. One was listed on ebay last week but, the starting bid was $140 and it didn't even come with the box. I'll keep looking....
