A VERY RARE SET OF MATCHBOX CORVETTE / BASEBALL SERIES
These Corvettes made by Matchbox for the 1992 baseball season
27 CARS IN TOTAL
ALL ARE BRAND NEW IN BOX
NEVER ON DISPLAY... NO DUST..NICE SHAPE AS SHOWN IN PHOTOS
THEY WERE PURCHASED AT THE CORVETTE MUSEUM AT COOPERSTON N.Y.. 20+ YEARS AGO
I PAID QUITE A BIT FOR THEM ABOUT $15 EA.

#2 - Boston Red Sox #3 - Anaheim Angels #4 - Chicago White Sox #5 - Cleveland Indians #6 - Detroit Tigers #7 - Kansas City Royals #8 - Milwakee Brewers #9 - Minesota Twins (error?) #9 - Atlanta Braves (error?) #10 - New York Yankees #11 - Oakland Athletics #12 - Seattle Mariners #13 -Texas Rangers #14 - Toronto Blue Jays #16 - Chicago Cubs #17 - Cincinatti Reds #18 -Houston Astros #19 - LA Dodgers #20 - Montreal Expos #21 - New York Mets #22 - Philadelphia Phillies #23 - Pittsburgh Pirates #24 - St. Louis Cardinals #25 - San Diego Padres #26 - San Francisco Giants #27 - Colorado Rockies #28 - Florida Marlins Take note that there is no #15 car. I don't know if this has something to do with the set having two number 9 cars.
only one I am missing is the #1 - Baltimore Orioles
This is a great little set for the Matchbox or MLB collector.
