Default Bushings

I had Joe install these bushings in my C6Z - huge difference in driver feed back! Not to mention more responsive turn in. This is one mod I was very happy with.

Job well done by Joe and his crew.

What's the maintenance like for those? Seriously considering them as I can go all the way up to, but not into, spherical joints because of rule constraints. Thanks.

we have installed about 15 sets with no problems...

Our Grand Am cars have been using them for two to three years with no issues..

I assume these are a significant step up from poly? How is ride harshness, will it make a street/track car unstreetable?

Any reason you didn't go with sphericals? Just curious since your car is top-shelf everything. Rules constraint?

How about sway bar bushings? c5T1 bars?

Fit the stock bracket?

....money constraint.........

Buying the "best" of everything is getting.....expensive!

Trying to buy smart now and I think from what I hear, the added money on sphericals wouldn't buy me that much more...

Some really nice bushings. I'm going to have to do that once I get the rear of the car finished. None of this is cheap. Here are my sphericals.

FWIW I would watch that rod end. What brand is it? I have been having a LOT of trouble finding rod ends that last. Most of the mohawk type just haven't held up for me. I am in the process of replacing the ones that quickly wear out with the (better) 3 piece ends (QA1 Enduro - used on off road Trophy Trucks & circle track cars).

Good luck & check for wear often. Some of the mohawk style I used failed (developed loose fit) after 1 track day.

Mostly tie rod ends.
